DELAY OF IEX SERVICE... M.V. MARE ATLANTICUM
Update as on 12 April 2012..
This is to inform all concerned that our IEX VSL, MTT, has been delayed way beyond expected delay of 24 hours after calling Mundra. But due to consecutive power shut down for three days for almost 6 hours, the terminal of JNPT is suffering a huge back log and the delay has escalated to 5 days. We now see that we shall berth only on Saturday either morning at 0600 hrs or latest by 1700 hrs.
This delay has put the service out of gear and she shall be sailing behind schedule of atlest 5 days.
Loss to OOCL shall be in terms of Bunkers due to the delay and probably skippingh of one service from this
Loop or seeking to move to another terminal as HLL has suggested to call NYK KAI at GTI so that there shall not be a clash of two IEX vsl at the same time and then to berth DXB on schedule for next Sunday window (22/04/2012).
