APL IRIS berthing at Nhava Sheva and impact on Bill of Entry filing

Vessel APL IRIS voy 175 berthed GTI terminal at 04:00 India time on 30th June 2013 and sailed at 18:00 hrs on 30th June 2013. There were 367 containers of OOCL planned to be discharged at Nhava Sheva for local and Inland movement.

However whilst operations were carried out, third party drivers were in the middle of wage negotiations with their employees, as part of wage negotiation tactics & were picking & dropping up fewer containers per hour then before, As a result total 117 containers were short landed.

Attached list (APL IRIS 175W Container Status.xls) provides the discharge/short landing status for each of these containers in the "Discharged/Short landed" feild Customers and their clearing agents are requested to please take note and file the Bill of Entry accordingly.
