Local practice:
Forwarders submit their own data to Carrier by providing Actual Consignee and possibility of SPLIT the BL's and change term of shipments (CY/CY to be CY/CFS).
With new regulation Forwarders MUST submit data to Carrier on EDI Format as stated on Point no. c:
Forwarders shall use the latest version of "Entry Date Module" (Version 1.21) -> downloadable from PT. EDI Indonesia’s Website: www.edi-indonesia.co.id
The cut of time for Forwarders submit to OOCL JAKARTA is 72 hours prior Feeder's berthing. OOCL Indonesia imposed DOC Fee of USD10/House BL Level.
Penalty will be imposed for Carriers who have not submitted data via EDI prior Feeder's berthing - Feeder is NOT allowed to be discharged and there will be Penalty Fee.
E-Manifest submission for other Ports IB and OB - tentative schedule is on September 2006.
