OOCL Enhances Irish Feeder Network

We are pleased to announce that on the 16th of April, OOCL and X-Press Container Lines entered into an agreement to operate the M/S Euphoria linking the ports of Southampton (Tue/Wed), Dublin (Fri), Belfast (Sat), Greenock (Sun) and returning to Southampton (Tue/Wed).

This follows a successful two month trial period and will ensure cargo in and out of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Western Scotland are connected in a timely and orderly manner to our deep-sea network. The service will be coded SIX. Cargo to/from Cork will continue to be fed to one of our hub ports in Continental Europe.

We have made these enhancements to offer our customers;
• A fast & reliable connection to/from our deep sea services,
• A secured supply of empty equipment as and where needed,
• An unmatched service offering for Scotland covering both coasts,
• Alternative routings in case of emergency,
• And for export customers we can apply Southampton export documentation cut-off times for advanced manifest submissions rather than some of the restrictions imposed by/when moving via continental ports.

Should you have any questions pertaining to this notice, please do not hesitate to contact Dublin office.
