Serious Impact of Great Earthquake in Tohoku District
The powerful earthquake hit the northern Japan and east coast affected schedule of OOCL vessels as well as many terminals in Japan. Below is summary of situation of terminals and our branches as of 23:00 13th March 2011 in the aftermath of Tohoku Earthquake and tsunami.
<Vessels>
Several vessels are delayed by influence of the quake, and their latest berthing prospects are as shown on Appendix 1. Whilst, the up-to-date schedule will be available on OOCL JAPAN Homepage and/or OOCL Express.com.

<Terminals>
As might be seen in news, regretfully the quake wrought appalling destruction on many of terminals, of those is located at North-Kanto and Tohoku area. The scale of the tragedy of where our service calls, Sendai, Hitachinaka, and Kashima, is still uncertain and yet unable to estimate how long its restore service will take.
And shore cranes and/or other equipments of several other terminals were also affected. Please refer to Appendix 2 for their current condition as of 23:00 13th March 2011.
