Dear Customers,
At their meeting on 18th October 2007, FEFC Principals agreed an FEFC Business Plan for Westbound cargo for 2008 on the following basis:-
From Asia (excluding Japan) to North Europe/Baltic/Scandinavia and Mediterranean
1st January 2008
A Conference rate increase for Dry and Reefer containers of US$ 200 per TEU for base ports and US$ 300 per TEU for SE Asia. We would clarify that for Singapore and Port Kelang/Tanjong Pelapas, the Conference rate increase will be USD 200 per TEU for as these are base ports.
1st April 2008, 1st July 2008, 1st September 2008
A Conference rate increase with the quantum to be announced at a later date.
A tariff rate for BCO cargo of US$ 1700 per TEU plus surcharges, for a minimum 10,000 TEU will be filed effective 1st January 2008
