국제 해상 위험물 코드 변경에 따른 설명

저희 OOCL은2012 년 1월 1일부로 새로운 국제 해상 위험물 코드(IMDG Code)를 기존 2008-34-08을 대신하여2010-35-10버전을 공식적으로 적용할 예정입니다. 이에 따라, 이를 사용하시는 고객 여러분께서는 새 버전의 적절한 적용을 하는데 주의를 기울여 주시기 바랍니다.  두 가지 중요한 변경사항은 아래와 같습니다.

1)  컨테이너에 대 한 수량 표시 제한:  IMDG 코드 3.4.5.5품목은 아래 표시 된 것과 같이 다이아몬드모양의크기 (250 mm x 250 mm 또는 9.84in x 9.84in)  위아래에 검은 표식이 되어있는 스티커를 컨테이너 4개면에 부착하여야 합니다. 표식이 부착되지 않은 컨테이너는 운송이 제한 될수 있읍니다.

2) 국제 해상 위험물 코드에 따라, 엔진이나 운송 장비에 정의된 위험물에 대해 규정된 위험물 관련 품목 (UN3166).

Customer Advisory: Upcoming Key Changes in the New IMDG Code Amendment 35

The latest edition of the IMDG code (amendment 35) has been in voluntary effect since January 1st of 2011, and its terms and conditions will require mandatory compliance as of January 1st 2012.  Please remind our customers to be ready to such changes.

We highlight two key changes below for your information and reference:

1)  Limited Quantity Marking for Containers:  The Limited Quantity Marking for a marine container has changed from the worded rectangular marking as shown below:
The new required Limited Quantity Marking is a diamond shape with upper and lower being black sections and the center section being white as shown.  The size (250mm x 250mm or 9.84in x 9.84in).  The marking must be displayed on all 4 sides of a container.

Containers arriving at cargo handling facilities with limited quantity dangerous goods cargo beginning January 1, 2012, and without the diamond shaped marking, will not be received.

2)  According to IMDG code, some types of engines and vehicles under certain conditions will be clarified as dangerous goods. (UN3166/Class 9)
