Korea to South East Asia Trade Emergency Risk Surcharge

- US$ 21/TEU, US$ 42/FEU wef 1^st March, 2011 -

Dear Customers,

With the unprecedented cost incurred in market, the shipping lines’ operating cost is getting significantly higher than expected. Accordingly, shipping lines’ costs cannot be recovered under the current market rates. OOCL, therefore, inevitably wish to inform you the ERS (Emergency Risk Surcharge) application plan effective from 1^st March, 2011 as follows:-

ERS (Emergency Risk Surcharge) :

o       Applicable Scope :    On corridor of Korea to Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India

o       Quantum of ERS  :    US$21/TEU & US$42/FEU on top of current rates

o       Effective Date       :    1^st March, 2011 based on the on-board date ex Korea
