In accordance with the directive from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD), a 6% Service Tax will be imposed on companies providing logistics services falling under the new category, Group J in Malaysia effective 1^st April'2024. 

We would like to inform our company, Orient Overseas Container Line (M) Sdn Bhd is registered as a member of the SST Group J - Logistic Services with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD).

As part of our ongoing commitment to accurate billing and compliance with the Business to Business exemption, we request that you provide proof of your registration as a member of the same group. 

This information is crucial for our records and ensures that SST is correctly billed. If there have been any changes in your SST registration status, such as deregistration, we ask that you inform us immediately to ensure correct invoicing.

Should there be any changes to the legislation or further guidance from the Government of Malaysia, we will promptly adjust our service tax application in accordance with the prevailing laws. Our dedicated teams are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all parties involved.
