FREE STORAGE PERIOD PURSUANT TO PORT KLANG AUTHORITY ANNOUNCEMENT
Memo - ANNOUNCEMENT OF FREE STORAGE PERIOD PURSUANT TO PORT KLANG AUTHORITY CIRCULAR DATED 30 JANUARY 2026
Referring the notice announcement from Westports Malaysia Sdn Bhd regarding the implementation of the Free Storage Period, as directed by the Port Klang Authority (PKA).
In strict accordance with the PKA By-Laws (Scale of Rates, Dues and Charges) 2012, the following free storage durations are effective as of 1 February 2026:
Import and Export Laden: 96 hours
Import and Export Empty: 72 hours
Please note that all other container categories will also adhere to the prescribed PKA By-Laws.
