1. Road Limitation

• 20' Container Maximum weight (cargo + container + chassis): 24.0 tons

• 40' Container Maximum weight (cargo + container + chassis): 30.0 tons

2. Terminal Limitation

• Gantry Crane Maximum Capacity: 35 MT

3. Transshipment Restrictions

None except DG restrictions as mentioned below:

• Permission is required for transhipment of DG cargo.

• For Class 1, 5.1 & 7, prior permission should be obtained prior loading of cargo on board. Minimum of 7 days required for approval

• Full DG details of cargo including shipper and consignee details with full style address should be provided.

4. Dangerous Cargo Restrictions

• Subject to approval

• For POD Sohar, a valid DG import license copy must be provided by the shipper at booking stage and submitted to Muscat office by POL CSV along with the DG application.

5. Customs Requirements

• Manifests to be submitted to Customs within 48hrs prior arrival of vessel.
• Transshipment cargo manifest to be submitted to customs 48 hours prior to arrival of vessel.
• Full name & address of consignee/notify party required.
• Actual number of packages/description and gross weight are required to be mentioned in the manifests.
