24 Hours Ruling for export cargo to Mexican ports.

Following the example of the U.S. and Canadian Customs requiring the announcement of export cargo
24 hours before ETA of the outgoing vessel, Mexican customs are following suit and will implement a similar ruling with effect from September 1, 2007. The OOCL service involved is the Gulf Mexico Express Service calling at a.o. Vera Cruz and Altamira. The cut off date/time are available in http://www.oocl.com/netherlands/eng/localinformation/serviceprofile/.
The first vessel to be affected will be the Lykes hero V. 43W.
