New cut off procedure at ECT terminal, Rotterdam
Please note that effective 15th February 2007 a new cut-off procedure will come into effect at the ECT Terminal in Rotterdam, applicable to all services.
First vessels to which this new procedure will become applicable :
- Grand Alliance : Bunga Seroja Satu, ETA Rotterdam 16-02-2007/23.00 hr
- New World Alliance: Hyundai Colombo, ETA Rotterdam 15-02-2007/15.00 hrs
- OOCL : OOCL Neva, ETA Rotterdam 15-02-2007/15.00 hrs
The major changes are the following :
1) The physical cargo cut-off is being advanced to 6 hours prior to the ETA of the vessel.
2) Also an administrative cut-off at 14 hours before ETA of the vessel will be implemented, which basically means that the container number needs to be provided, and no alterations or additions possible thereafter.
The implementation of this influences not only our procedures as Carrier, but also impacts on your procedures as being our customers.
Please ensure that your container will be delivered timely to the terminal respecting the new physical cut-off, and also to provide missing data on e.g the container number if this is being requested by our Customer Service Desk, to meet the administrative cut-off in time.
