We wish to advise shippers of scrap metal, waste paper and other waste products of the new EU Green List regulations concerning the movement of these goods which came into effect on 12th July. In this respect the VROM have issued explanatory notes in their website which can be consulted at : http://www.senternovem.nl/uitvoeringafvalbeheer/Afval_over_de_grens/index.asp.
Consequently, shippers of scrap metal, waste paper or plastic and other products covered by the new rules are asked to confirm in writing, in the form of a Letter of Intent, their acceptance of OOCL’s waste product booking conditions.
