Gulf of Aden Surcharge (GAS) - European Trade

OOCL wish to advise that effective 1^st January 2010 the Gulf of Aden surcharge (GAS) will be revised on all Outbound and Inbound containers to/from Europe.  The surcharge is to cover the ongoing costs incurred in transiting the Gulf of Aden due to the piracy problem in the region.  This surcharge is to be paid by the freight payer.
