Advance Manifest Submission - People's Republic of China (AMS Fee)
Advance Manifest Submission
To comply with PRC Customs requirements, OOCL will be submitting the Advance Manifest to PRC Customs as from 1st July 2009. The submissions are required to be submitted prior to vessel commencing to work in Singapore for shipments ex New Zealand. PRC Customs have confirmed for the initial period they may not issue DO NOT LOAD instructions.
AMS Fee
The submission of Advance Manifests creates additional work by the line, similar to the Advance Manifest submissions for the USA trade. A fee US$25.00 per bill of lading will be charged effective 1 July, 2009 on all cargo destined to PRC. The fee will appear on the Bill of lading as AMS.
Note – dates are based on shipment onboard date.
