Introduction of Origin Terminal Handling Charge 

As in other areas which we cover through our global services, from 1^st October 2010 OOCL will be introducing an Origin Terminal Handling Charge (THC), applicable to exports on all shipments ex New Zealand.  The application of this charge will be on revenue neutral basis with the quantum of the charge reduced from the current freight rates.  All contract arrangements will be honored until we adjust the freight rates at the time of renewal of the contract.

The rate of exchange for this adjustment will be NZD 1 = USD 0.69

We will advise customers of the first applicable vessel for implementation of this surcharge in due course.
