Implementation of Container Imbalance Surcharge (EIS)
On Import Cargo to Chennai, India
Due to current equipment imbalance situation at Chennai, OOCL wishes to advise that there will be Container Imbalance Surcharge (EIS) to be implemented on all dry cargoes to and via Chennai at the rate of :
Per 20' Dry Per 40' Dry
USD125 USD250
Charge is on collect basis, payable at destination by cargo receivers, with effect from 20th June, 2012.
* Note dates are based on shipment onboard date.
