Emergency Haulage Surcharge (EHS)

– Northbound to US Inland Door Moves via the US West Coast

Dear Valued Customer,

In view of ongoing congestion at various US West Coast Ports, this is to advise that effective from January 2, 2021, OOCL will implement an Emergency Haulage Surcharge (EHS) of US$ 350 per unit for Dry Container on all door moves via US West Coast Ports at Long Beach, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Oakland, CA; Seattle, WA; and Tacoma, WA. This charge is to be paid at destination.

The EHS covers shipments from Australia and New Zealand to US inland door moves via the US West Coast.  This surcharge does not apply to Customer Nominated Trucker (CNT) door moves.
