UPDATE TO OOCL Empty Container Return in Auckland

 

We wish to advise there has been a further update to the notice sent on the 4th December. Due to ongoing issues we will not be using Metrobox 685 Great South Road. Please do not sent containers to this yard as the containers can no longer be accepted.

Instead you will be able to de-hire empty units at a temporary site arranged at Container Co, Wiri, Manukau from midday on the 8th December.

Details:

  1. At this stage we can't open the VBS bookings so the transport company needs to touch base with the MCP office whether by phone or person on the gate and we will make a manual booking until we can find an alternate solution.
  2. The transport company is to be held responsible for ensuring they bring the correct container to us and advise the correct Shipping Line and we require a delivery docket for each container until we get the system sorted.
  3. We will have someone down the driveway directing OOCL containers into the site so as not to congest the roads leading into the site.
  4. Mike Kirwan is the depot manager of the site, his mobile is 029 282-3209 with our nightshift supervisor being Paul Figota (021 672-404)
  5. The site will be open and manned from 7.00am to 5.00pm and will look at the operational hours once we get into it
