Terminal Emission Reduction Charge at Origin/Destination (TEO/TED)
In view of cost imposed by terminal operators at Vancouver, BC, Prince Rupert, BC, Nanaimo, BC and Saint John, NB for the emission reduction project, a Terminal Emission Reduction Charge will be introduced wef 16 November 2024.
Charge amount per equipment size will be:
20’: USD15
40’: USD30
40HQ: USD30
Cargo Type: All
Valid: Effective from November 16, 2024 (based on Cargo Receipt date), until further notice.
The above Terminal Emission Reduction Charge (TEO/TED) will be payable by the freight owner.
