Notice on
EU ENS ICS 2.0 Implementation
Dear
Valued Customer,
The
European Union (EU) Customs has announced to implement new regulations for
manifest declaration. If the goods are transported to or through the EU
(including FROB goods), carriers must submit ENS through European Union’s
Import Control System 2 (ICS2). Effective immediately, you can provide the
entry declarations data which are listed below via Shipping Instruction section
on OOCL’s website:
1.
Detailed and accurate goods description, general product names are
unacceptable.
2.
At least 6 digits HS (Harmonized System) Code.
3.
Consignee EORI (Economic Operator Registration and Identification) No.,
or full address of consignee (Country Name, City name, Street name + number or
P.O. Box number).
4.
Direct customers need to declare Supplementary Declarant EORI (for
Self-Filer of Buyer & Seller information), or Buyer & Seller
information if requesting our company as filer.
5.
Forwarders and NVOCCs need to declare EORI No. of the House B/L declarant
(self-filing).
