Custom Requirement at KICT (Karachi Western Port, Keamari) Terminal

Dear Customer,

Please note below Customs requirement for vessels calling at KICTL (Karachi International Container Terminal Ltd) under the new Custom Regulations i.e. CARE as under:

• Commercial Invoices and Packing List must be placed inside the container at Origin by the shipper.
• Custom documents (manifest) must be submitted 24 hours prior arrival of vessel at KICTL (West Wharf) for all cargoes which are loaded or Transshipped from Far East Ports.
• Custom documents (manifest) must be submitted 12 hours prior arrival of vessel at KICTL (West Wharf) for all cargoes which are loaded or Transshipped from Colombo / Jebel Ali / Nhava Sheva
• In case of violation of above new regulations authorities may impose penalty against Carrier/Agent @ PKR50,000.00 to PKR5000000.00 and container will not be discharged from the vessel at KICT kept ROB if above not adhered.

Therefore all loading ports are requested to please note and strictly follow the new Customs regulations for vessels calling at KICTL (West Wharf) and all required documents/information should reach our office in advance before arrival of vessel.
