TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
In view of the exceptionally strong demand for cargo space and equipment in the Far East to Middle East trades, we would like to notify all our valued customers that our company has made the decision to apply a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) of US$150/20’ and US$300/40’ starting from 15 July 2007.
By applying this PSS, we believe that our company will be in a better place to adequately meet the needs of our customers and continue to provide a high standard of service in this trade.
Please note that with effect from 15 July this PSS will apply on top of existing ocean freight rates. Ocean freight rates will, furthermore, still be subject to all accessorial surcharges applicable at the time of shipment.
