CUSTOMER ADVISORY ON BL SURRENDER REQUEST

Dear Customer:

We would like to reiterate our procedure on BL SURRENDER/TELEX RELEASE REQUEST for your compliance.

For BL SURRENDER/TELEX RELEASE request, hereunder are our requirements:

1.    Letter of request using shipper’s letterhead.

2.    Full set of Original Bills of Lading must be surrendered and endorsed by company’s authorized signatory bearing company stamp/chop.

3.    Payment of telex release fee of $20 at any BDO branch nationwide

If request is made on the same day of OBL issuance, kindly ensure that the letter of request clearly specifies name and company of authorized representative to endorse 3 ORIGINAL BILLS OF LADING on shipper’s behalf.

Please note our  counter service is open from Monday to Friday at 830am to 430pm.
