Change of Destination & Mis-declaration of Cargo
1. COD (Effective from 15th July 2012):
To recover carrier’s additional administrative cost on Change of Destination (COD) service, the COD Administration Fee will be adjusted as follows with effective 15th July 2012.
COD Administration Fee:
• If the COD request requires no container re-stow, an administrative charge of USD200/BL is applicable.
• If the COD request requires re-stowing of container, an administrative charge of USD500/BL is applicable.
The above administration fee shall be charged on top of container re-stow costs and all other extra costs incurred for COD arrangement.
2. Mis-declaration of Cargo (Effective from 17th Aug 2012):
To minimize cargo mis-declaration cases, especially for hazardous goods, we wish to inform of additional liquidated damage for hazardous cargo mis-declaration charge from USD 2,000 to USD 10,000 per container basis with effective 17th August 2012. All other charges for mis-declaration of cargo remain unchanged.
We would like to have your attention on the importance of clear and accurate shipping information with cargo nature as declared by the shipper or its agents, must be provided to OOCL at time of booking as all DG cargoes are subject to ship owner's approval before cargo receipt.
