In preparation for the 45th Asian Development Bank (ADB) Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors from May 2-5, 2012, the Chairman, MMDA, considered the following temporary modifications on the Uniform Truck Ban Hours, as follows:

• Cargo Trucks shall only be allowed along the major roads of Metro Manila from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. from May 2-5, 2012
• No truck will be allowed Southbound beyond the seven (7) operating hours mentioned above
• Northbound trucks, however, will be allowed to utilize the northbound routes as per original truck ban hours.

As this will affect export and import delivery schedules, we hope you can maximize our 24 hour CY Operations, overnight receiving and our weekend sailing. As May 01 is a holiday, we shall resume processing of import documents on Wednesday, May 02.
