STRIPPING AT TERMINAL - all ports
Same terms as above are valid for containers stripped at the terminal. Combined DD ends on the same day of empty container's empty return to facility designated by Carrier
We kindly ask customers to discuss with terminals to return the empty containers to OOCL stock within the DD free time in order to avoid DD charges
RE-USE/TRIANGULATION
Valid until 11/09/2022For all IB containers that are subject of reUse/triangulation the responsibility of Inbound customer/Party for redelivery of container and DD charges settlement ends at 23:59 on the same day laden container is received at terminal for export.
Effective from 12/09/2022Carrier can grant approval to the requesting party to reuse the import container for an export delivery without previously returning same to an Carrier depot for inspection /repair/cleaning. Carrier can grant or refuse the request for reuse of Carrier equipment (with or without explanations).
Additionally, Carrier is allowed to impose additional conditions for the reuse or to limit the reuse to a specific type /size of containers.
Making an application via online portal Avantida for the reuse of an empty Carrier container is one of the basic requirements for this approval.
All detention charges incurred until re-use date mentioned in Avantida request will be billed by OOCL only to the account of the inbound shipment party. All detention charges incurred as from the re-use date mentioned in Avantida request will be billed by OOCL to the account of the outbound shipment party. The re-use date in the request via Avantida ends the inbound shipment and starts the outbound shipment. The “requesting party” is fully responsible to provide the correct date of re-use

ATTENTION: Please note that, as per DCT terminal regulations, any containers staying at the terminal for more than 14 days may be moved to a long storage area at terminal discretion and at chargeable fee. In case of such terminal action carried for containers under OOCL shipment, customer will be charged by OOCL respectively with Container Removal Charge in the amount of 80EUR/container (160EUR for DG commodity) on top of any QR charges due as per tariff.
