Please use the webpage link to Tariff & Rate Enquiry for full price for your shipment.
All Surcharge and Fees shown are maximum rates and valid until further notice (unless specified).

Dear valued customers,

We would like to inform you about our new demurrage & detention methodology, touching the calculation of days and tiers after the expiration of extended freetime.

The new D&D rule will be effective with rate date 1st October 2018, valid for all shipments and all bounds, at origin and at destination.

Example (extended freetime of ttl 14 days, 24 days container usage):

Standard Terms:

  • 9 days freetime as per tariff
  • day 10-16 (7 days), EUR 28/container/day (tier 1)
  • • thereafter >= day 17 (8 days), EUR 56/container/day (tier 2)

Old rule with extended freetime:

  • 14 days extended freetime
  • day 15-21 (7 days), EUR 28/container/day (tier 1)
  • • thereafter >= day 22 (3 days), EUR 56/container/day (tier 2)

New rule with extended freetime:

  • 14 days extended freetime
  • day 15-16 (2 days), EUR 28/container/day (tier 1)
  • • thereafter >= day 17 (8 days), EUR 56/container/day (tier 2)

EUR 28 = tier 1

EUR 56 = tier 2

This means after expiry of extended freetimes, charges might be linked to respective higher tiers from the beginning of billable days.
