OOCL utilizes innovative tool to accelerate communication and response in the aftermath of the Japan earthquake 

Recently, OOCL implemented Tibco Software’s Tibbr platform to speed up communication and collaboration among employees. This came in handy when responding to events in the aftermath of the Japan earthquake.

Tibbr was effectively used to quickly disseminate information on the latest situation and its impact on employees and customers in Japan.  Continuous status updates were posted about people’s safety, communication and connectivity, and situation in ports, terminals, and facilities. Tibbr’s collaboration feature ensured that employees could not only follow the updates in real-time but also share their insights if they had useful first hand information.

All this greatly contributed to improved visibility and timely information sharing, and enabled quick decision making, anytime anywhere.
