OOCL gloabl IT network after the Japan earthquake

Although some international undersea cables have been damaged by the earthquake, its impact on OOCL's global IT network is minimal. We are routing the network traffic of affected offices through alternative ISPs to ensure acceptable performance.

On the other hand, to prepare for the possible situation of insufficient manpower at the Tokyo office, customer support requests to Tokyo hotlines are being routed to the Osaka office. VPN has also been enabled for Tokyo colleagues so that they can work at home.

OOCL IT would like to take this opportunity to express support for our colleagues in Japan, and Japan as a whole, and to wish them a speedy recovery from these events.
