A Time for Giving in the UK

OOCL UK did their bit for charity this Christmas and had fun in the process! As part of the ‘Text Santa Christmas Jumper Day’, our colleagues in Levington donned their best Christmas jumpers for the day, and made a donation to the Text Santa campaign. The money raised will be donated across three charities: Macmillan Cancer Support, Make a Wish and Save the Children.

Colleagues also organized a collection of non-perishable food items to donate to the charity FIND (or Families In NeeD), to which OOCL and OOCL Logistics are regular supporters.  FIND provides emergency assistance to families or individuals in the areas that are deprived of a minimum standard of living due to homelessness, illness, disability, old age or poverty.  The team delivered the food items in order to assist the regular FIND volunteers to create Christmas Food parcels.
