Hong Kong Colleagues Help Collect Bread for the Needy
On April 9, 2015, 26 colleagues from OOCL and OOCL Logistics spent some time after work to participate in the Bread Run, a charity event organized by Feeding Hong Kong.
Our volunteers collected surplus fresh bread and sandwiches from 12 stores across Hong Kong and brought them back to Feeding Hong Kong's office for sorting and packing before delivering to the charity partners on the same night or the following morning. Colleagues were all happy to participate in this meaningful event to reduce food waste and help those in need.
