Hong Kong Colleagues Donate to the Children’s Heart Foundation

Early this year in January, HQ colleagues participated in one of the largest running events in Hong Kong – The Standard Chartered Marathon 2016 as part of the Company’s “Run for a Reason! OOCL SCHKM” campaign. The money raised will benefit worthwhile causes as part of OOCL's core value of upholding strong community responsibility.

On Saturday, April 9, 2016, the Co-Chairpersons of OOCL’s Vital Link Committee2016 had the honor of representing the Company to present the donation cheque  raised from OOCL SCHKM to Mr. Jack Y.H. Lo, Executive Committee of the Children Heart’s Foundation. The donation is only one of Vital Link’s many actions as part of their mission to contribute to the betterment of our community and encourage corporate citizenship through public service initiatives, community outreach and volunteerism.
