Senior Manager - Operations

Marine Operations Responsibilities:
- Lead the Marine Ops Team (MARSIN) to achieve berthing excellence for OOCL services and vessels.
- Coordinate with HKG MOC on berthing priority for incoming vessels.
- Handle exceptions and ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
- Engage in discussions with strategic vendors (e.g., PSA Terminals).
- Evaluate marine ops vendors' performance.
- Continuously review Ops cost and address unfavorable trends.
EQM Operations Responsibilities:
- Lead Equipment Ops Team (EQMSIN) in managing depot and EQM inventory at OSPL.
- Ensure sufficient EQM to support OSPL business.
- Manage depot and equipment operations effectively.
- Coordinate with EMC to meet EQM ops KPI targets.
- Evaluate depot vendors' performance.
- Review EQM stock allocation based on depot performance.
In addition to the above dual functions, the Manager or Senior Manager will also be expected to initiate process improvements to align with business and customer requirements.
- Minimum Degree in a relevant field.
- Good analytical skills and proficiency in utilizing digital tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Quick decision-making and effective vendor engagement for maintaining Ops excellence.
- Demonstrate instant leadership, enthusiasm, and a commitment to Ops excellence.
- Ability to bring positive change to the organization's operations, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong focus on improving work effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
- Involvement in tasks and exercises that make a significant difference and add value to the company.
