NOTICE TO TRADE
IADA CRITICAL BUNKER RECOVERY
As a result of ongoing increasing fuel costs, shipping lines are no longer able to absorb some of the associated expenses through existing ocean freight rates alone. In order to more fully recover escalating bunker costs and related charges directly incurred, it is the decision of our management to assess a Critical Bunker Recovery (“CBR”) of US45/TEU with effect from 01ST December 2008 for all Intra-Asia trades to/from Singapore with the following exceptions :-
*Ocean freight rate that are filed subject to prevailing bunker charge (CBR is not applicable)
