EMERGENCY RISK SURCHARGE (ERS)
Due to the increase of insurance cost on the War Risk Premium with the extension the scope of Pirate risk , we will be implementing a new Surcharge, ERS, to cover our cost.
Emergency Risk Surcharge (ERS) at the quantum of US$41/Teu will be with effect from 1 March. This surcharge will be on a pre-paid basis.
This will apply on top of existing ongoing rate quotations and will continue to be subject to all ancillary charges applicable at time of shipment.
