Container Triangulation to Truckers
Local News
December 19, 2011

Dear Truckers/Hauliers,

We understand the concerns from you when we initially stopped the transfer of emptied containers from Consignee to Shipper.

With due consideration, we now allow you to directly truck emptied OOCL inbound containers from Consignee’s site to OOCL Shipper’s site for stuffing. However, please note the following administrative charge shall apply:

·
SGD20 per 20’GP

·         SGD30 per 40’GP

·         SGD30 per 40’HQ

Note: These charges will not apply if consignee (for inbound shipment) and shipper (for outbound shipment) is the same party as indicated on both BLs.

Please note all such transfer must be registered with our customer service at [email protected] with the details: :

Following conditions still applies:

·         All inbound containers must be properly cleaned for the shipper.

·         All containers must be of good working condition for the shipper. (Any containers not in good
condition received eventually at POD from   the shipper will be the shipper’s liability. Hauliers are
therefore required to ensure the containers are in good working condition for the OB shipper’s use.)

·         SGD650 for those containers shipped out under a different booking from the original request.

·         SGD220 for those containers transferred from consignee to shipper without Carrier’s consent will
       be liable for the charges.
