The ocean freight rate for Asia Europe Trade continues to be below the required level to cover
basic operating costs.  Considering that the current level is unsustainable for the long term, we
are now announcing a revenue restoration program in order to maintain a viable service level.

With effect from May 1, 2012, freight rates for westbound traffic from Asia to Europe will be
increased by USD450 per TEU.  It covers shipment from the Far East (excluding Japan) , India
Sub-Con and Middle East to North Europe, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
