1. Road Weight Limitation
- Truck including container : max 42 tons
- For specific Container Limitations, please contact local office.
2. Port Restrictions
- Hazardous material / imco : no restrictions providing imco declaration is submitted in a timely manner.
3. Customs Requirements
- All Non European Community cargo imported to and exported from Spain must be declared in advance of arrival / departure. In addition to the normal cargo manifest declaration by the shipping line the importer also has to arrange Customs clearance by presentation of certain declarations, payments of duties and taxes.
Additional requirement by importer is the presentation of :
Inbound
- cargo declaration once arrived (packing list)
- original commercial invoice
- original bill of lading (1set)
- origin declaration, when needed
- fumigation certificate, when required
These documents must be presented to Customs once cargo arrived to BIO.
- Time required to clear the goods: Normal clearance arrangements is very short unless other special requirements are needed by Customs which is based on the classification of goods ie: imo, perishable, reefer commodities
- Customs clearance facilities are availability: 08:00 to 14:00 hrs (Monday - Friday)
Outbound
- Commercial invoice
- Packing list
- Special certificates, depending of the goods: imo, perishable
- Availability : same times and dates as for Inbound
- Time requirement: immediate
4. Free Storage Period
- Maximum 5 days on quay including the date of loading / discharging.
