Dear customer,
due to actual reason we need to inform you about a necessary change in veterinary operation handling, concluded by regional customs and CTA:
Due to the fact that the veterinary clearance is no longer possible in the freeport area (Oswaldkai) it needs to be ensured that the custody of the respective Reefer containers is ended accordingly in advance of leaving CTA.
Therefore it is necessary that the service provider who completes the transport to the veterinary office is a registered 'virtual custodian'. Applications for this registration can be ordered in all Hamburg customs offices.
