Dear customer,
members of the Far Eastern Freight Conference (FEFC) wish to inform customers that the present situation affecting import containers at St. Petersburg is resulting in Lines incurring extra operational costs. As a consequence of this, Member Lines of the FEFC will implement the following Emergency Surcharge effective March 15, 2007:
GP Containers : USD 400/800 per 20/40ft
Reefer Containers: USD 675/1350 per 20/40ft
Member lines of the FEFC will monitor the situation at St. Petersburg and will review the surcharge as, and when it becomes necessary to do so.
