The ocean freight rate for Asia Europe Trade has been below the required level to cover basic operating costs for a prolonged period. Considering the need to provide sustainable services for the long term, we are announcing a revenue restoration program.
With effect from August 1 2012, freight rate for westbound traffic from Asia to Europe will be increased by USD 300 per TEU. It covers shipment from the Far East ( including Japan ), India Sub-Con and Middle East to North Europe, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
