Qatar Customs Authority’s Requirement on the Use of Pallet for all Cargoes Entering or Export Doha Port

Dear Valued Customers,

According to the General Directorate of Customs's directive, with immediate effect, cargo has to be palletized in a safe and secure mode to facilitate smooth and safe handling of customs inspection at the port.

It has also stated that a fine of QAR500 for the first instance and QAR1,000 for repetition will be imposed to companies for non-compliance. To avoid any cargo clearance delays and potential extra costs imposed by the Authority or as detention, OOCL strongly recommends our customers to comply with the requirement.
