PAT/BKK01's action plan for flooding 

Please be advised that PAT is well aware of the high water in Oct-Nov. every year due to water from the North and supported by sea water. as per their estimation, the highest water level is still lower than wharves. This year, it is quite exception due to heavy rain by monsoon causing flooding in the North and central areas now. They estimate that the highest water level in Oct. will be on 11-18/10 and 27-31/10 and 15/10 will be the most highest. PAT has ensured that they could prevent the flooding in PAT/BKK01 with the plans –

• PAT staff to stand by 24 hours.
• PAT has 10 pumps (in case of black-out, they also have non-electric emergency pumps) are ready to pump out the water if it is flooded.
• Port equipments are ready to move the cargo/laden containers to unflood areas.
