OOCL would like to inform all customers that we will implement the Equipment Imbalance Surcharge (EIS) for all the import shipments to PHILIPPINES with details and effective as the following:
Ex. Thailand / EIS will collect at destination.
Port of Discharge : Any ports, Philippines
Equipment Imbalance Surcharge (EIS)
Quantum : 90USD/TEU
Effective from August 15th , 2011 [On Board Date]
The surcharges shall apply to all the terms and conditions, regardless if the trade term of the shipment is Prepaid or Collect.
