Advance Manifest Security Charge
(AMS)
Dear Valued Customers,
OOCL would like to inform all customers, we are adjust Advance Manifest Security Charge (AMS) with effective September 26th, 2013 and details as the following:
In the event Carrier submits advance cargo declaration data to the U.S Customs Service for cargo loaded on a vessel at a non-U.S port, an Advance Manifest Security Charge shall be payable to Carrier for each bill of lading issued by Carrier or , if the Shipper tendering cargo to the Carrier has issued one or more its bills of lading for such cargo (sometimes referred to as ‘house bills of lading’), on each such shipper-issued house bill of lading and the Carrier issued bills of lading for which Carrier submits such data.
The amount of the charge shall be: US$ 30 per bill of lading
In the event Shipper submits advance manifest data directly to the U.S Customs Service for cargo loaded on a vessel at a non-U.S port, an Advance Manifest Security Charge shall be payable to Carrier for each related master bill of lading issued by Carrier.
The amount of the charge shall be: US$ 30 per bill of lading
