New Surcharge EMP Implementation with effective March 1st, 2024
Dear Valued Customers,
In view of the raising in operational costs, this is to advise that with effect from March 1st, 2024, OOCL will implement “Equipment Maintenance Premium (EMP)" for all General Dry, DG, Reefer and special equipment cargoes for the details as follows:

Equipment Maintenance Premium (EMP) – condition will cover for the container damages incurred to the containers as below:
- EMP will cover for the containers damage as follows: -

- GP/RF cargo up to THB 1,200 per 20'GP, RF and THB 2,400 per 40'GP-HQ, RF, RQ, 45'HQ
|
- DG/OOG cargo up to THB 2,400 per 20'DG, RD, AD, OT, FL and THB 4,800 PER 40'DG, RD, AD, OT, FL.

- The container damages over those amounts will be charged the customers at actual costs. (by offset due to EMP is charged during ex-D/O)
|
- For an example, 20GP incurs the damage THB 2,000 (actual cost) so we will claim the customer by THB 2,000-300 = THB 1,700
|
Effective Period: From March 1st , 2024, valid until further notice and are governed by prevailing tariffs published on www.OOCL.com unless otherwise agreed at time of shipment.
This surcharge will be applied in addition to our rate offer.
