Customers are advised that in the event of exceptional demand caused by work action at U.S. ports, a Booking Cancellation Fee will be assessed for bookings to Canadian / Mexican ports cancelled within 7 calendar days of Shipping Instruction cut-off. Dear Valued Customers, A Port Congestion Surcharge of $ 800/20’; $ 1000/40’ and $ 1265/45’ will be assessed to all shipments due to labor unrest, including but not limited to strikes, lock-outs, work stoppages, or slow down at any U.S. port(s).

Customers are advised that a new Quay Rent (Ardiye) tariff for our various terminals in Istanbul will come into effect on 6 January, 2013. This applies to all shipments except Shipper's Own Containers or Awkward Cargo. The new free time rules and charge structure are outlined in the table below, and can also be viewed online in the Demurrage & Detention page of our Turkey local website. Dear Customers, So that we correctly update your accounts and avoid any invoice payment disputes, please ensure that any payments you make to us clearly show the OOCL invoice numbers and the amount you are paying for that invoice. For example, if you are paying USD 5,000 to cover several invoices, we need the following minimum information as a Remittance Advice: OOCL invoice numbers, and amount being paid for each.
