- There is no specific application regarding TK - one of the above can be used according to the weight .

Special restrictions:
Class 2.1 must be discharged directly on truck for delivery. Consignee/receiver of the cargo must get permission from customs prior to shipment.
Customs requirements
Imports: Import cargos from EU are subject to only 18% VAT except for luxury consumption goods, for which rates can be up to 25%.
Imports from non-EU countries are subject to 18% VAT plus custom tax.
Exports: Export cargos are not subject to VAT and TAX.
- Marport West Terminal is administered by Marport civilian owner under the government customs regulations.
- Pilot and tugs are provided by a special company. Pilot is compulsory for foreign flag vessels larger than 500 GT.
- All dues, such as Harbour dues, sanitary dues, light dues are controlled by the government.
- Max.berth permission LOA 300 metres,draft 13,5 metres.

- Vessels over 5000 GT must take 2 tugboats unless they are equipped with bow thruster.
- All dues, such as Harbour dues, sanitary dues, light dues are controlled by government.
- Max.berth permission LOA 600 metres,draft 10 metres.
Documentation;
- A copy of the carrier’s B/L nust be provided.
- Cargo manifest and B/L should show where the cargo will be transhipped. “ In transit to ..... “ remark has to be shown on cargo manifest of the vessel and on the B/L. Otherwise cargo can not be accepted for transhipment.
- A copy of the Packing List and Commercial Invoice must be provvided for all alcoholic beverages, drinks, tobacco, cigarettes and cigar shipments.
- No commercial Invoice is needed for other cargo (excepting alcoholic beverages, drinks, tobacco, cigarettes and cigars, as above).
- 8 digits HS code must be provided and shown on the B/L
Cargo Restrictions:
The cargoes listed below are restricted for import or for T/S in Turkey:
1) Drugs.
2) Silkworms; seeds.
3) Soil; fertilizer; leaf mould for agricultural purposes.
4) Gambling machines.
5) Any goods which may harm the ozone layer.
6) Some paint materials (annually updated).
7) Chemical Weapons and Chemicals which are restricted by Intl Chemicals Weapon Agreement.
8) Some waste materials (anually updated).
9) Live animals; some animal products; some cosmetics containing animal products.
